Worldview at the Abbey 2016 has begun! Tuesday we welcomed our students to Canon City. A day full of laughter, get-to-know-you questions, settling-in culminated with a beautiful double rainbow at dinner and time together as girls sharing where we're coming from, some of our unique characteristics, and picking out pictures that catch our eye.
We finished the collages yesterday (picture below), and the girls shared the stories behind each of their projects. After explaining what it means to be knit together in love, how God has brought us here to the Abbey from different backgrounds with different stories and how God has been/is/will fight for us, we cut the collages into squares and pasted them to a large piece of cardstock in the shape of a cross to remind us that Jesus and His finished work on the cross is what holds us together.
I am so thankful for each of the girls. It is evident that God has brought each of them here for a purpose. Please pray that we would continue to have wisdom and discernment as we rest in God's love and pursue His truth.

The picture below is all the girls and Hannah Hall and I on the first night.

Here are all the students, the directors and faculty on the first night.
